On-site control. Commercial protection. Seamless operations.

At UPRIVER Marine, we act as your eyes and ears on the ground. Our Loading Masters and Boarding Agents attend vessels at berth or anchorage to ensure full operational oversight during loading and discharge operations.

Whether working on behalf of charterers, owners, or agents, we coordinate with all involved parties—terminal, Master, stevedores, tugboats, and local authorities—to minimize risks, avoid delays, and ensure all procedures follow contractual and port regulations.

Our role includes:
– Representing the client during cargo operations (soybean meal, grain, oil, fuels, steel, etc.)
– Verifying stowage and trim conditions, matching cargo plan vs real-time performance
– Ensuring that loading limits, stability, and draft restrictions are respected
– Monitoring loading/discharge rates and resolving operational issues in real time
– Coordinating final documentation with terminals and authorities
– Verifying cleanliness, sealing, or hose test completion before/after loading
– Keeping detailed records (Statement of Facts, reports, photos)

Why appoint UPRIVER Marine?
– We are available 24/7 in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Zona Común
– Multilingual, experienced staff with deck and cargo background
