Typically, vessels report the initial quantities of Fuel Oil and Gas Oil through a Delivery Notice upon arrival at Recalada. When the vessel proceeds upriver to ports such as San Lorenzo, our surveyors board the ship, take accurate measurements of all bunker tanks, and calculate the actual consumption since delivery.
Similarly, in Brazilian ports like Santos, it is common practice to conduct delivery surveys upon arrival, especially when the charter starts there. Re-delivery may also take place at other designated positions as agreed in the charter party.
