For bulk carriers, our priority is to ensure cargo holds are approved on the first inspection and to support the operation during hose tests and cleanliness checks. We act as Protecting Surveyors, assist during draft surveys, and verify that loaded quantities match the Bill of Lading. We work closely with the vessel’s command, even remotely if necessary, to validate maximum cargo intake and ensure that the vessel loads to the permitted draft—optimizing trim, preventing air pockets, and maximizing freight performance.
